Playtech Signs VLT And Online Casino Deals With Norsk Tipping

With long-term partner Norsk Tipping updating their current technology services agreement between the two companies, Playtech Plc has maintained a firm closure of its 2020 commercial activities.

Two new supplier agreements with Playtech for online casinos and Video Lottery Terminals (VLT) products have been signed by Norway’s state-owned gambling operator.

All Norwegian government procurement processes were cleared by the FTSE250 technology group to become the authorised supplier of new casino content and VLT systems for Norsk Tipping that comply with Norway’s strict national gambling laws.

“We are confident that Playtech’s proven VLT and online casino expertise in a wide range of regulated markets will continue to provide great value for Norsk Tipping and support us in the delivery of our overall content strategy.”

Since 2003, Playtech has acted as the lead systems and platform supplier to Norsk Tipping. Norsk Tipping will greatly broaden its portfolio of online casino games, including studio-developed titles from Roots, Quickspin, Vikings, Rarestone and Ash Gaming from Playtech.

Playtech will offer its collection of VLT games to Norsk Tipping terminals located across Norway via the VLT games agreement, producing exclusive games for Norwegian customers.

Playtech also saw stable contract upgrades with long-term tier 1 partners, Betfred, Boylesports and Mansion Group for 2020 trading.
