Playtech has hailed its latest US expansion as a “exciting step” for the company, announcing a multi-state deal with the Kindred Group’s flagship Unibet brand.
Playtech will deliver its casino software to Unibet in New Jersey under the terms of the agreement, with more states to follow in the coming months.
Kindred Group US SVP Manuel Stan commented: “To add Playtech Casino software to our portfolio in New Jersey is very exciting. Partnering with Playtech enables us to offer our online casino customers a selection of some of the best quality content, and we look forward to further collaboration with Playtech across more US states in the future.”
The relationship with Unibet is being hailed as the next stage in Playtech’s strategic development across the United States, with the company recently stating that more releases are in the works for later this year and into 2022.

Finalto financial services
Earlier in the day, Playtech announced that the long-rumored sale of its Finalto financial services company to Gopher Investments for an enterprise value of $250 million in cash may be nearing completion.
The transaction, which has received unanimous board approval, is subject to shareholder approval, with completion expected in H1 2022, assuming regular regulatory clearances.
