Pickswise, a provider of free sports betting picks, has committed to a new commercial agreement with FanDuel, a famous US sportsbook. Throughout March Madness, FanDuel will be the sole sponsor of Pickswise content, according to the terms of the agreement.
Pickswise will premiere ‘Masters of the Madness,’ a pre-tournament betting show with college basketball insider Jon Rothstein and former Detroit Mercy player Rashad Phillips, who now specialises in college basketball and NBA Draft prospect assessment.
The company also unveiled the ‘Hoops Betting Hour’ after the end of Selection Sunday. Ex-barstool content producer Jeff Nadu hosts a regular college basketball betting video stream on YouTube and podcast networks. A new ‘Bet-along’ begins on social media to engage sports betting enthusiasts during the tournament.
Finally, as part of the deal, the ‘Pickswise Capper Contest’ will be launched. Throughout March, a group of ten professionals, including eight special guests, will compete in a handicapping contest with a $10,000 cash prize for the winner.
Jon Rothstein (CBS), Rashad Phillips, Megan Nunez (@meganmakinmoney), Jeff Nadu, and a lucky Pickswise person who will win a seat in the competition via a draw on the Pickswise website are among those competing.
Potential to meet a broader audience
