Peter Sjoberg has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Videoslots, as the Malta-based online casino operator continues to restructure its executive leadership ranks.
Sjoberg has been the Director of Customer Services at Videoslots since 2018, heading a team of more than 50 employees responsible for customer service and enforcement.
Pioneer in management of igaming activities
Sjoberg has held senior management roles overseeing Betclic and Unibet customer service teams, and is a pioneer in the day-to-day management of igaming activities.
Commenting on his promotion Sjoberg said: “I am excited to continue my journey at Videoslots in a new senior management role which will help not just the risk and support team, but the company as a whole, to scale even greater heights.”
Sjoberg’s nomination comes after Videoslots promoted former COO Ulle Skottling to Deputy CEO, assisting company founder Alexander Stevendahl in his position as CEO.
Supporting next level of expansion
Skottling and Sjoberg will be in charge of reorganising Videoslots’ organisational structure and internal activities in order to support the organisation in moving to the next level of expansion.
“Peter is a dedicated, hands-on and performance-driven colleague,” said Stevendahl. “During his time at Videoslots he has earned a reputation as someone who brings strong leadership, vision and integrity to every role he takes.
“I am confident that his appointment as COO will mean we can accomplish even bigger and better things as a brand, and I am very much looking forward to us hitting our targets together in the coming months.”
