Uruguayan online casino software developer Patagonia Entertainment has announced it is changing its name to Salsa Technology to facilitate better the next stage of its development.
The innovator headquartered in Montevideo used an official press release on Thursday to announce that it’ has grown to become the dominant force in Latin America and a global player in the iGaming market’ since its launch seven years ago. This claimed that its new moniker reflects its ‘dedication to globalisation, localisation and innovation within the iGaming world’ and will give this’ scope for accelerated growth’ in the future.
Patagonia Entertainment explained that it will be at London’s extravaganza at next month’s International Casino Exhibition (ICE) to showcase all its advanced goods and also to relaunch its in-house design studio to release ‘ several innovative and immersive games, ‘ including Halloween Groove Bingo and Jogo dos Bichos Praia.
The press release was used by Peter Nolte, Chief Executive Officer of Patagonia Entertainment, to announce that his company’s new name was chosen because the word ‘ salsa is synonymous with Latin America ‘ and its connotations ‘ flow through the business ‘ perfectly encapsulate its ‘ origins, beliefs and philosophy ‘
Nolte said in a statement: “We’re incredibly proud of Patagonia Entertainment’s journey to this point and our rebrand gives us the platform to expand even further across the iGaming world. Latin American culture flows through the business today despite our global position. Salsa Technology encapsulates our essence perfectly and will help us deliver on our company vision of becoming the world’s best business-to-business developer of bespoke technology solutions for the iGaming industry.”
