As the No. 1 aggregator and content distributor continues its efforts to create a stronger footprint on the global market, it has been a very busy week over at Pariplay Ltd.
The Gibraltar-based studio released a new title, Bier Party, after signing an agreement with Codere to solidify its footprint in Latin America and Europe, and introduced all required amendments with regard to the German Regulation Regime.
The developer of ground-breaking products such as Fusion and the production programme Ignite Studio announced on 14 October the further strengthening of the Portuguese market by partnering with the widely regarded casino and sports betting brand Solverde.
As a result of this agreement, Pariplay has decided in the coming weeks to launch its all-new, groundbreaking game suite for Portuguese players. Solverde.pt is a Solverde Community online gaming destination, a land-based venue covering the entire country with more than 45 years of experience in casinos, tourism and leisure.
While it was launched as CasinoSolverde.pt in 2017, it recently consolidated its name as Solverde.pt. It now provides a broader range of some 900 casino games on the whole market since last September, including sports betting. Pariplay could place itself for greater long-term success on the Iberian peninsula by entering into this partnership with a ‘well-seasoned operator’ in the region.
The provider shows particular interest in regulated markets such as Germany and Portugal, as well as regions that have shown great promise in the online gaming industry, as Pariplay speeds up its 2020 expansion plan. In this part of the industry, Portugal announced a revenue rise of 47.5 percent to EUR 69.8 m during Q1 2020, which is the first time online gaming has produced more revenue than its land-based equivalent.
Under the terms of the agreement, more than 35 of the top performing titles of Pariplay will go live, with many more to follow, on Solverde. The list includes successful certified releases such as Wolf Riches, Jack in the Box, Treasure Temple, North Dragons and Rumble Rhino, major hits in many controlled European landscapes where a very large and increasing presence is already enjoyed by the supplier.
According to Solverde, the state-of-the-art games listed above would be an outstanding addition to its rising offer of high-quality casino games. The company also partners with Red Rake Gaming and iSoftBet premium providers.
Americo Loureiro, director at Solverde Casinos & Hotels, said about this landmark deal: “We are always looking to provide our customers with the best tailor-made online experience, which makes this partnership with Pariplay so important, as it will allow us to further expand our wide assortment of industry-leading content. Already popular in other European countries, we are very eager to see how well these games resonate with our own players and the impact it will have on acquisition and retention goals.”
Director of sales at Pariplay, Andrew Maclean, added: “It is very exciting to see Pariplay content expanding in a market with as much potential as Portugal. Associating with a casino group that has the national recognition and land-based heritage of Solverde will contribute immensely to our long-term position, as we continue to build momentum with more top operator partnerships through the remainder of Q4.”
Christine Lewis was appointed by Pariplay as the new Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director in Malta at the beginning of September.
