By expanding its cooperative relationship with Team Spirit, betting technology firm Parimatch has retained its strong market place in esports.
Under the terms of the deal, Parimatch will remain Team Spirit’s title partner, that is one of the three most famous in the CIS region, and will see its logo put on the CS: GO and Dota 2 team uniforms of the esports athletes’ front, back and sleeves.
In addition, Parimatch will earn the right to use pictures of rivals from Team Spirit in marketing communications and the partners will focus on producing content for the gaming community and releasing a merchandise range.
Focussing on the result
Stepan Shulga, Head of Esports Parimatch said: “Team Spirit is a kind of mascot for us.
“Together, with the club, we have been through a lot, including a complete change of Dota 2 rosters and constant but always successful CS:GO roster changes; the main thing we value is focusing on the result.
“For this team, sports achievements are more important than media success, and we respect this approach.”
Dedication to esports
In 2019, the collaboration between Parimatch and Team Spirit started, as the operator sought to expand its presence in esports. The dedication to esports is expressed in the mobile apps of the business, specialised promotions and giveaways for the sport’s followers.
In addition to organising their own professional events and launching social media content for fans, Parimatch also sponsors amateur grassroots esports tournaments. A collaboration with famous professional gamer ‘Coldzera’ was also recently developed by the operator.
Nikita Chukalin, Team Spirit CEO, added: “For the last two years, Parimatch has been a reliable partner for us, and I am sincerely glad that we managed to extend our cooperation for the year of 2021.
“We have significantly grown as a brand, and many of our endeavours would not have been possible without the support of the best bookmaker in the CIS.
“I am sure that this year, our cooperation will reach a new level and we will delight our audience with even more sports achievements and cool content. A big cheer for Team Spirit and Parimatch, doing it together in 2021!”
Team Spirit has won many CS: GO and Dota 2 tournaments, including a gold prize at the January 2021 DH Open, receiving a $35,000 first-place prize. The squad would become the first Russian esports club to enter into an agreement later this year with Nike, the American sportswear maker.
