Since announcing the launch of its first Podcast,’ From the Horse’s Mouth’ Paddy Power marketing has started to diversify its media coverage.
Launched today, the Irish bookmaker’s podcasting site, ‘Paddy Power Media,’ a new marketing venture that seeks to sustain Paddy Power’s profile across multiple media genres.
Paddy Power has ‘From the Horse’s Mouth’ as co-developer of the podcast with Muddy Kneeds Media in order to shake coverage of racing news, know-how and viewpoints.
The podcast is presented by legendary jockey Ruby Walsh, who is supported by racing broadcaster Tom Nugent and company figurehead Paddy Power as co-hosts.
In its 2020 timetable of podcast plans for a Dublin show in front of the Cheltenham Festival, Paddy Power announced to the UK marketing news source The Drum that From the Horse’s Muth will include planned ‘ live experiences. ‘
Content Head of Paddy Power Jack Wilson explained: “We’re committed to becoming a go-to content destination for racing fans in the UK and Ireland in 2020 – and our new podcast promises to deliver the inside track on the sport from those who know best.
“Paddy Power Media have got a stellar list of guests to join our front men too. There’s some exciting plans for live shows in 2020 as well – all designed to bring punters to the heart of the horse racing action.”
With the launch of’ From the horse’s body,’ Paddy Power continues to invest in’ content creation’ for deeper sport narratives as a primary marketing methodology.
Paddy Power released its first dedicated football magazine, Pitch Invader, which circulated a million copies throughout the country, ahead of the start of the English football season 2019-2020.
Paddy Power has also been releasing the’ Liquid Football ‘ YouTube football programme in collaboration with leading digital publisher Joe Media.
