After linking up with the Dutch land-based operator JVH gaming & entertainment company, Oryx Gaming expanded its scope to the Netherlands, ahead of the planned opening of the country’s online gambling market in September 2021.
What the deal means
The agreement will see the company offer its Oryx Hub igaming platform to the operator, integrate with the Kambi sportsbook and make accessible to the online business of JVH a range of RGS and third-party aggregated content. The company will make its first foray online with its Jack’s Casino brand via the contract.
Eric Olders, CEO and chairman at JVH group said: “The Dutch online gambling market becoming regulated has been some time coming and we are excited about the opportunities now lying ahead.
“We’re confident that with Oryx’s experience and the quality of their products, we will be able to offer our customers the best level of service and an unrivalled player experience. They have a great team and we look forward to partnering with them as one big team.”
At the heart of the future interactive business of the JVH community, the Oryx platform will feature a proprietary range of instruments including player and payment management, CRM and promotions, incentives and rewards, fraud, rule engine, compliance, analytics and monitoring and CMS.
Oryx Hub, which hosts a library of more than 10,000 casino games from over 100 providers, including proprietary RGS content and a number of third-party content providers such as NetEnt, Pragmatic Play and Greentube, will also have complete access to the JVH group.
In addition, the operator can also use the real-time data and player participation network of the organisation using instruments such as the management system of real-time campaigns, leaderboards and tournaments, achievements, jackpots and more.
The deal also involves an integration with the sports betting provider Kambi Group, which revealed in December 2020 its alliance with the JVH group, which currently operates more than 80 gaming venues in the Netherlands.
Dutch market anticipation
Matevž Mazij, Oryx Gaming managing director, added: “We’ve anticipated the Dutch market opening for some time, so it’s hugely pleasing to get this partnership with JVH group over the line, a company with an impressive heritage in the Dutch gaming market.
“They’ve been a leading player in the market in the Netherlands for years now and we are thrilled that they have aligned themselves with us for their online debut. We look forward to achieving high levels of success through a close partnership in this new and extremely exciting online market.”
