B2B gaming software provider Oryx Gaming has expanded its presence in the Romanian market substantially and has entered into a content distribution agreement with operator Winbet.
Under the terms of the deal Winbet is to gain access to the custom content of the Oryx games platform from vendors including Kalmaba Games, Gamomat and Golden Hero, as well as from Oryx Hub, which provides a range of casino games from a collection of over 8,000 titles and 80 providers.
The deal will see Oryx’s Bragg Gaming Group increase its market share in Romania, having already built a presence in the country through partnerships with several operators.
Matevz Mazij, managing director of Oryx Gaming, said of the announcement: “Partnering with Winbet, one of the largest and most reputable operators in the region, is another great milestone for us as we continue our strategic ambition to expand in regulated markets.
“Romania has become an important market for us and our offering has proven popular with local players and we are looking forward to being able to offer it to Winbet’s customer base.”
Winbet, a South East European retailer, boasts a wide-spread distribution network and an online presence with several licences, including one granted by the Romanian National Gambling Office.
Mark Adonia, COO, at Winbet Romania, commented: “Oryx Gaming’s offering will be a great addition to our existing portfolio as we continue to grow our brand and cement our position as a leading and must see operator in Romania.
“Oryx offers a wide and exciting portfolio of engaging titles from premium suppliers which will greatly enhance our customers’ experience.”
Last week Bragg Gaming Group continued to expand its US footprint after securing a vendor licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Compliance from the company’s sports media affiliate GiveMeSport.
Because of the green light being released, Bragg is able to guide users from its site to sportsbook websites that accept New Jersey registrations and deposits, adding that several sports betting partner deals are also scheduled to go live in the coming months.
