OPAP SA, Greece’s national lottery operator, has exercised its two-year extension option to its current Intralot SPA technology services agreement, which will continue to serve as its lead provider of numerical lottery provisioning systems.
OPAP, updating stakeholders, states that its supplier arrangement has been extended from August 2021 to July 2023.
This expansion would allow Intralot to continue to deliver its lottery solution, including its new ‘LotosX’ core platform, which was introduced in 2019 with great success, along with many other components and high-quality services.
Optimised gaming experience
The lottery solution helps the Greek lottery and sports betting operator to continue to optimise its gaming experience and increase the Greek player community’s participation in a responsible manner.
Intralot said its future-proof framework for the next generation is designed to create scalable ecosystems that meet and consumer demand and completely support OPAP’s modernisation and digital transformation.
Earlier this month, OPAP confirmed Jan Karas‘ permanent appointment as its new CEO and as a new Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the company.
