Greek gaming company OPAP has made a number of changes to its management team, including the naming of Jan Karas as its current managing director.
Vaios Karantinos was named the new Chief Retail Officer at OPAP, while Nancy Verra was also designated as Chief Regulatory and Enforcement Officer by the operator.
Meanwhile, Spyros Linaras has taken on the role of chief officer of the citizens at the gambling company in Greece.
Alongside the likes of executive chairman Kamil Ziegler and chief executive Damian Cope, the quartet will all become members of the OPAP Executive Committee in addition to assuming their new role.
Management appointments come after OPAP announced last month that the launch of 25,000 video lottery terminal (VLT) machines in its home country has been completed.
The rollout of machines provided by Inspired and the Synot Group took just under three years, starting in January 2017 after the decision of the Greek Government to grant OPAP a VLT monopoly was approved by the European Union in 2015.
OPAP has also revealed details this week about a new partnership with Playtech for digital sports betting. Under the deal, the division of Playtech BGT Sports will provide the operator with its new digital platform for Quantum sports betting.
As part of their Quantum roll-out, OPAP will become the first operator to use the PBS streaming sportsbook service.
