Onefootball Develops Sportradar Partnership For OTT Ambitions

Football Media Platform Onefootball intensified its collaboration with Sportradar, employing the sports data intelligence company to create its OTT proposal.

Berlin based Onefootball, aims to increase its football content ability by displaying’ premium football rights’ across its digital systems via Sportradar’s PPV modules.

Covering over 100 international leagues across the board, Onefootball runs the world’s most famous football app, which last year recorded 35 million active players ahead of the 2018 World Cup kick-off.

Since 2014, Sportradar has been the lead information API for Onefootball and the supplier of live record facilities.

Onefootball CEO & Founder, Lucas von Cranach, said: “We are delighted to be taking our next steps in the streaming market and also build on our existing relationship with Sportradar by utilising and jointly customising their state-of-the-art OTT solution for our purposes.”

Powering Onefootball’s OTT aspirations, Sportradar has lately obtained PPV live streaming deals with Sky Deutschland, Bundesliga 2 and DFB-Pokal games in Germany, and Eleven Sports national Serie C games in Italy and also chosen premium games in Belgium and Luxembourg.
