The Ohio Lottery Commission has granted Scientific Games Corporation a new four-year deal to handle all facets of its instant “Scratch Off” games for its Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP).
The new partnership extends the company’s services to include game development, portfolio management, in-house marketing, advanced warehousing and delivery logistics, and market optimisation that involves distributing the company’s SCiQ ® Intelligent Instant Game eco-system to 300 retailers.
The Ohio Lottery is joining more than 20 lotteries around the globe, including four of the country’s top five lotteries based on weekly per capital sales performance, participating in the SGEP programme.
John Schulz, Senior Vice President, Lottery Instant Products for Scientific Games, commented: “We are proud to continue working with the Ohio Lottery to manage its portfolio of instant games from start to finish through the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership. Led by business analytics, this new partnership will help grow profits for the state’s public education system, which is the real beneficiary of this new contract.”
SG will provide an integrated portfolio of unique game content, products and managed services designed to maximise lottery sales, including the latest generation of SciTrak Ultra Instant Game Management Tools, complementing the company’s SCiQ Intelligent Instant Game Retail platform, which is already proving popular with Ohio Lottery retailers involved.
The Lottery will continue to leverage the 45 years of knowledge and analysis from Scientific Games for instant games, now directly dedicated to their company by several lottery data scientists.
The company currently provides instant games and related services to the Ohio Lottery under other agreements, such as licenced properties and second-chance games played online / mobile.
