After agreeing to a new alliance with the La Liga champions and global football giants, Real Madrid, Oddspedia will broaden its brand visibility.
For the remainder of the 2020/2021 season, for selected Real Madrid home games, including El Clasico against Barcelona on 11 April, Oddspedia will be featured on the perimeter advertisement boards at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
Conventional media verticals
It comes at a time when Oddspedia, a provider of live results, streams and odds comparison, aims to ‘step away’ from a digital-centered advertisement strategy by leveraging more conventional media verticals to raise brand awareness.
In the midst of the ongoing renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu, the regular training center for Real Madrid, the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, is hosting the matches.
Beyond digital advertising
Jan Möller, co-founder of Oddspedia said: “We are thrilled to have seized a unique opportunity to work with Real Madrid, a world-class organisation, and one of the most successful clubs in football history.
“It’s exciting to have Oddspedia.com featured on the stadium and we certainly look forward to expanding these opportunities in the future. This also marks our first time we step beyond digital advertising, and I see it as a great way to kick-start 2021, with TV advertising being an additional platform to grow and engage our fanbase.”
The web portal will gain access to ‘cutting-edge digital overlay technologies’ by appearing on the pitch-side advertisement boards, allowing for geo-targeted broadcasts. As a result, by targeting the ‘right audiences’, Oddspedia will expand its brand exposure.
Partnering with top-flight teams, says Oddspedia, when looking to build ‘higher level recognition’ as well as generate value for its branding efforts, can be a ‘very effective’ tool.
