Oddschecker has increased its marketing and presence in the developing US sports betting market by teaming up with Floyd Mayweather Jr for the NFL’s 2021 season opener.
As more states open their markets to regulated wagering, the Bruin Capital-owned odds comparison site plans to offer Super Bowl odds through its channels, allowing US sports fans to view and analyse predictions on NFL games.
Under the terms of the agreement, the undefeated boxer will work with the company on its US-based projects, assisting NFL fans in making informed decisions.

Following Bruin Capital’s £155 million acquisition of Oddschecker from previous owner Flutter Entertainment – which had in turn taken over the firm together with its operator, Sky Betting and Gaming – the deal signals a significant expansion of the company’s US activities.

The betting and gambling market in the United States continues to expand, with some states having previously done so and many others in the process or planning to do so.
According to study conducted by the American Gaming Association (AGA), public perception of the industry is improving as legalisation and regulation take effect, with two-thirds of respondents expressing support.
