Novibet has moved its main technologies and operating systems to Microsoft Azure’s cloud computing network, ushering in a “new digital era.”
The Microsoft Azure cloud update, according to the CIS betting community, is a crucial infrastructure initiative for 2021, as it will help Novibet retain its technological capability to fit its size serving several CIS betting and gaming jurisdictions.
Strongest underlying technological support
With the switch to Azure, Novibet stressed that its day-to-day activities will be backed up by Microsoft’s 24/7 engineering network, which will have the strongest underlying technological support.
Novibet will also benefit from Azure’s microservices, which will enable the betting company to tailor its systems design to meet market-by-market size demands.
Novibet told stakeholders that it had focused on the Azure cloud infrastructure network to achieve its objective of sustaining a highly scalable applications environment” that allows for scaling to accommodate increased traffic on its site.
Microsoft Azure competes against Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle in the multibillion-dollar cloud storage and network service market.
George Athanasopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Novibet said: “We trust Microsoft’s vision and we are now entering a new digital era for Novibet, with great growth prospects for the future.
“Lately, all our teams have been working round the clock, in collaboration with Microsoft, for the successful implementation of this significant project.
“With Azure cloud on our side, we are ready to respond and foresee the needs of our ever-growing customer base and provide them with a fully operational entertaining environment, while leading the way against the world’s top tier providers.”
