After the NFL’s Titans teamed-up with BetMGM, a first collaboration was formed in Tennessee between a professional sports team and a gaming and betting network.
The partnership, hailed as a” historic moment in Tennessee,” designates the joint venture of MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings as ‘Official Sports Betting Partner.’
Gil Beverly, Titans senior vice president and chief marketing and revenue officer said: “We are thrilled to bring BetMGM to the state of Tennessee.
“BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”
The online gaming and sports betting network will gain brand exposure through numerous Titans’ digital properties and key in-game moments as a result of the collaboration, such as field goal attempts, replays of video boards, and more.
In addition, at the Saint Thomas Sports Park training facility and corporate office, the brand will now become the exclusive naming rights partner of the Titans television studio, and will be home to Titans All Access, the Coach Mike Vrabel Show and additional content broadcast across Tennessee.
A soon-to-be-announced Titans raffle supporting The Titans Foundation will also be funded by BetMGM, which channels funds to community groups throughout the state.
Matt Prevost, the CMO of BetMGM, noted: “The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner.
“This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favourite football team.”
Recently, BetMGM obtained a conditional licence to provide online sports betting in Tennessee, with its mobile app expected to go live in the state in early November, when, pending regulatory approval, online sports betting is scheduled to begin.
