This week the National Football League (NFL) announced a new alliance with Betcris, designating the LatAm sports betting operator as Latin America’s official betting partner. The deal marks the NFL’s first of its type in Mexico, Central America and South America.
Betcris will have rights across Latin America to use NFL trademarks to promote its NFL sports betting offers and secure brand exposure across NFL digital properties (NFL.com, the NFL Fantasy app, NFL social media channels) under the auspices of the deal.
The firm will also be a presenting sponsor of the NFL’s free-to-play Pick’Em game, and will act as an NFL International Series Game Signature Partner in Mexico in 2021. Betcris will also licence the NFL ‘s official sports betting data feed, ensuring its customers benefit from fast and reliable NFL betting markets.
JD Duarte, CEO of Betcris has commented: “We are beyond thrilled to become the NFL’s first official betting partner in Latin America, and look forward to further elevating the experience for our users.
“This represents a culmination of years of work to make Betcris a household name in Latin America. With this partnership, Betcris now enjoys a major competitive advantage that serves our long-term goals well. The NFL has proven to be an ideal partner throughout this process, and we look forward to working together.”
NFL Executive Vice President / Chief Strategy & Growth Officer Christopher Halpin stated: “As our fan base continues to grow across Latin America, it was important that we partner with a trusted industry leader in the territory.
“Betcris’ capabilities throughout this important region, and its management team’s experience and commitment to the highest standards, made it clear they were the right partner for the NFL. We look forward to working together to engage new and existing fans across these markets.”
