Net Gaming AB Rebrands As Acroud AB

iGaming affiliate Net Gaming AB has changed its name to Acroud AB since Robert Andersson took over as CEO in February this year as part of a number of broader strategy updates.

After a downturn in year-on-year sales and income in 2019, former Catena Media chief Andersson was brought in in an effort to re-focus the company and return it to success.

Revenue continued to fall until Q1 2020, with the company announcing a decrease of 21.3 percent for the three months to March 31 , 2020. At the time, though, Andersson said a refocused business had sufficient untapped potential to grow from Q2 on.

The name change was revealed alongside the latest manifesto of the company, which sets out its business strategy.

The manifesto, in accordance with its current corporate plan, states that the company is “adapting and [is] here to disrupt and claim what hasn’t been claimed.”

Commenting on the announcement, Andersson said: “I am proud to work with so many talented employees as we now take a real step towards creating strong growth in an international and highly expansive industry.”

The company aims to return to growth by supplying its consumers with high-quality comparison pages.

It will concentrate on a few main markets, organically increasing its websites through user interaction and moving into new verticals while enhancing its technical capabilities.
