The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) has given a late call for registration for this year’s Winter Session, due to hosting 42 lawmakers from 20 states at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina for three days this Friday.
The public-open Winter Meeting welcomes gaming operators, suppliers, sports executives, lawyers, analysts, regulators, public officials, and others involved in all aspects of legalised gambling.
NCLGS President-Elect Keith Pickard, a senator from Nevada said: “We at NCLGS have been working hard to make sure our panellists and programs are addressing the most pressing issues facing state legislatures and the gaming industry today.
“This year’s Winter Meeting is further proof that everyone interested in legislation and regulation of gaming in America should be in San Diego from January 10 through 12.”
The agenda for the three-day event will include six legislative-chaired committee sessions focused on tribal and commercial casinos, responsible gambling, pari-mutuels, and lotteries, as well as sports betting legal, administrative, and operational aspects.
Two Masterclasses on sports betting and tribal-state compacting taught by the International Masters of Gaming Law are also included in the curriculum.
