Microgaming welcomed a “key partner” as the company welcomes the signing of a major casino software agreement with GVC Holdings gaming and sports betting business.
This will see a range of igaming content from Microgaming go live with an additional collection of GVC’s year-round online gaming brands including Coral, Gala Bingo, Gala Casino, Ladbrokes, and Betdaq.
The partnership comes from a deal between the two gaming companies that saw Microgaming content being made available through the bwin, party casino and partypoker gaming platforms of GVC in regulated markets such as Spain, Italy, Belgium and the UK in 2017.
Obdulio Bacarese director of commercial management at GVC, commented: “As players’ expectations are continuously evolving, it is imperative we continue to keep up with their demands and what better way to do so than partnering with Microgaming.
“Microgaming’s immense experience, reputation and performance in delivering quality and innovative content is second-to-none, and we look forward to taking their portfolio of market-leading games live across our brands over the next few months to deliver a world class-experience to our players.”
GVC will now be able to further expand its current casino service under the terms of the deal and provide its players with access to the exclusive game portfolio of Microgaming, including Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Jurassic World and Lara Croft Temples and Tombs.
Microgaming chief operating officer Andrew Clucas noted: “Home to an extensive portfolio of leading brands, GVC are a key partner for Microgaming. Both Microgaming and GVC strive to provide the market with immersive, entertainment-driven experiences, and we look forward to further strengthening our relationship with them.”
