Microgaming says it wants to “reinvigorate the live casino industry,” as the igaming company partners with On Air Entertainment to power a new offering.
On Air Entertainment, which is powered by Microgaming, is the brains behind a new live dealer suite that will be available through the studio’s custom-built platform. Early 2022 will see the launch of a variety of classic and custom live casino games.
New evolution of live casino gaming
Microgaming’s CEO, John Coleman, said: “On Air Entertainment represents a new evolution of live casino gaming, possessing all the experience, talent and passion required to innovate in the live casino space. I am delighted that Microgaming is playing an integral part in their exciting journey.”
On Air is headquartered in Malta and operates a studio in Riga, Latvia, with developers stationed in both Latvia and Estonia. It was founded in January 2021 by a team of experienced industry professionals with a history in live casino.
The company expects “rapid growth” in the coming months as it starts on a goal to provide “competitive, customisable, and world-leading content to the table,” according to the company.
On Air Entertainment’s managing director, Andres Rengifo, added: “Our vision is to be the global innovator of choice for tailored live casino experiences, and to achieve this we’re bringing together the very brightest and best live casino talent from across the industry.
“Powered by Microgaming, we will have access to unrivalled customer and market reach, this is a game-changer for us, and we can’t wait to begin broadcasting together.”
Microgaming has had a busy few months, with a number of commercial tie-ups announced in the last few weeks of May. This included a collaboration with Reno-based Gold Coin Studios, the Solverde Group, and Blox, a platform and content provider.
