Made in Brazil (MiBR) has announced the commencement of its ‘Feitos no Brasil’ scouting and player development programme, which aims to boost the organisation’s CS:GO ranks.
MIBR will organise player try-out events sponsored by Betway from July through August, with the goal of identifying the best CS:GO players in Brazil to join MIBR’s new academy team.
Betway will deepen its main sponsorship of MiBR, Brazil’s oldest and most popular esports brand, as part of the deal.
Betway, MiBR’s longest-serving sponsor, assisted franchise founder and coach Ricardo ‘DEAD’ Sinigaglia in resurrecting the pro CS:GO organisation in 2018.
Leading the academy
The Feitos no Brasil academy is led by Renato ‘Nak’ Nakano and Henrique ‘Rikz’ Waku, two Brazilian esports veterans entrusted with developing MIBR’s future talent resources.
Betway emphasised its commitment to esports professional development by supporting MIBR’s academy. The bookmaker is a main sponsor of G2 Esports, FURIA, and PSG Esports, among others.
Adam Savinson, Betway Esports Director, emphasised the project’s importance in assisting MiBR beyond its commercial commitments.
“‘Brazil has such an incredible pool of CS:GO talent and we’re really proud to support the search for the next big star with Feitos no Brasil by Betway,” he remarked.
