On day two of Betting on Sports America- Digital 2020 (BOSA Digital), one of the highest-profile executives in the gaming industry will take centre stage and deliver the keynote session. By means of an engaging interview session hosted by ESPN Gambling reporter David Purdum, MGM Resorts International CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle will discuss the industry.
BOSA Digital, the largest dedicated sports betting trade show and conference for the U.S. industry, takes place on Dec. 1-2, 2020 and has transformed from a New Jersey-based physical event to a virtual one.
Hornbuckle, an industry veteran with decades of experience, is leading MGM Resorts as it extends sports betting throughout the United States and guides the rapid, exponential development of BetMGM, the mobile sports betting app of the company. Created and led by renowned business leader Barry Diller, IAC / InterActiveCorp (IAC), the media and technology group, recently made a $1 billion investment in MGM Resorts, acknowledging the growth and potential of the company’s online sports betting activities.
The leading event for the sports betting industry in North America is BOSA Digital. Hornbuckle is joined by an impressive list of keynote speakers, including Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US.
Sue Schneider, VP of Growth & Strategy, Americas for SBC, said: “The stable of brand partners that we are able to secure among our speakers is truly second to none. Attendees have come to expect conference sessions that are unparalleled in both subject matter and presenters. BOSA Digital will be no different with MGM Resorts International, William Hill US, and Sportradar making up our keynotes.”
Both of the keynote sessions will be part of eight separate tracks that comprise the full agenda of the conference that will discuss the many issues that must be addressed if the enormous potential of the North American sports betting industry is to be realised. Investment material, betting in culture, lotteries, sports betting 101, activities, marketing & association, legislation and betting on sports are included in the tracks.
Hornbuckle said that when it embarks on a new year in 2021, he is ready to discuss the industry at large. Sports betting is a bright spot and a field for substantial growth even during these difficult times for operators like MGM Resorts. With BetMGM and the online gaming room, MGM is committed to building on our recent success and continuing to innovate.
The complete line-up of 130 speakers, comprising senior managers, regulators, associates, vendors, and advisors from operators, is scheduled to be announced shortly.
The event will also include an immersive product showcase area where operators will be able to learn about the next generation of foreign suppliers’ goods and solutions, speak to professional teams of suppliers, and personally experience the goods through demonstrations. Other resources for operators and suppliers to connect will be offered in the virtual networking lounge, the meeting rooms in the virtual networking bar, and the thematic networking roundtable programme.
