MGM Announce GameSense Surpassed 1 million Customer Interactions

On Thursday MGM Resorts International (MGM) announced that GameSense, an innovative responsible gaming initiative embraced by MGM Resorts in 2017, has lately exceeded 1 million U.S. properties client interactions.

Positive, transparent and proactive discussions about how to play responsibly are the focus of the program. GameSense’s implementation marked an unprecedented dedication to incorporating accountable gambling education into the guest service model of MGM Resorts and further supporting the accomplishment of this milestone is the responsible gaming culture of MGM Resorts.

GameSense is an industry-leading program that the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) created and licensed to MGM Resorts. The program comes alive through private relationships between visitors and qualified employees at the M life rewards desk of each property.

Besides talking to qualified staff–known as GameSense Advisors –visitors can also use interactive GameSense touchscreens and pick up instructional materials and other resources. GameSense is intended to assist customers make informed choices and maintain playing fun. The program has been recognised on Problem Gambling by the National Council.

The landmark milestone has been achieved by GameSense just as MGM Resorts prepares to acknowledge Responsible Gaming Education Week. Responsible Gaming Education Week will bring together sector, advocacy regulators and other important stakeholders from Sept. 16-20 to encourage transparency and gaming literacy while showcasing a dedication to responsible gaming on a daily basis.

The firm is partnering with the American Gaming Association (AGA) during the Responsible Gambling Education Week to assist spread knowledge and educate customers on how to make informed and accountable choices while playing.

As an essential aspect of the daily activities of the industry, MGM Resorts and the AGA both prioritise responsible gaming. Responsible Gaming Education Week initiatives are taking place as the newly opened and lately refurbished sports books of MGM Resorts are preparing for an influx of football visitors.
