MaximBet is expanding its betting and gaming footprint in the United States after receiving market access in Ohio and Pennsylvania, pending the acquisition of the requisite regulatory licences.
MaximBet is hoping to quickly expand its reach in “avid sports markets” across the US and Canada after a successful launch in Colorado earlier this month, which included “a record-setting number of bets on the opening weekend of the pro football season,” according to the company.
MaximBet’s latest agreement will give Ohio residents access to online sports betting. Separately, Caesars Entertainment will offer the organisation permission to provide igaming in Pennsylvania.
Carousel Group’s sports betting and online casino brand, which is in cooperation with lifestyle brand Maxim, is already live, or soon will be, in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, as well as Canada.
Daniel Graetzer, CEO of MaximBet said: “Every new market we enter our sole focus is on bringing the best experience to the customer by providing them not only with a world-class sportsbook and casino, but also with access to money-can’t-buy experiences that only a lifestyle brand can provide.
“We are excited about the efficiencies this scale brings to our business and we look forward to additional market access arrangements in the near future.”
MaximBet has announced plans to work with the White Mountain Apache Tribe in the freshly legalised Arizona sports betting market, in addition to entering Colorado earlier this month.
