Maxima Compliance, a full-service compliance firm, has expanded its business activities by appointing Filippo Ferri as the group’s first chief commercial officer (CCO). He will work out of the company’s Barcelona headquarters.
Ferri previously worked at BMM Testlabs as the head of igaming policy and new products for more than three years. He has more than 15 years of gaming experience, including positions at Inspired Gaming, GLI, and Evolution Gaming.
Ferri said: “Maxima Compliance has grown impressively over the past couple of years by offering its customers a world-class service they can’t find elsewhere. I’m thrilled to be joining this innovative company and will work to ensure that its remarkable growth story continues.”
The hiring of Ferri comes after a period of rapid expansion for Maxima Compliance, which included the hiring of gaming counsel Paola Menachem as its head of regulatory and licencing in December 2020.
Industry-specific ‘Maxima Quality Assurance’ tool
Maxima Compliance unveiled the new igaming compliance service in March, unveiling its industry-specific ‘Maxima Quality Assurance’ tool – a QA platform that assists gaming vendors in resolving compliance problems that are delaying the certification of their goods.
Commenting on the appointment, Antonio Zanghi, Maxima Compliance CEO said: “Filippo brings years of gaming experience to the Maxima Compliance team.
“As our first CCO, he will oversee commercial operations across the company at a time when we are quickly expanding globally. His expertise is going to be an important addition to the business.”
