Since naming Max Bichsel to lead the company’s expansion into the sports betting sector in the US, the digital marketing services provider for the international igaming industry, Gambling.com Group, has expanded its US growth strategy.
Bischel served as the director of US sales for Kambi before joining Gambling.com Group. The development and expansion of Gambling.com’s partnerships with brands on the US market will be included his new role.
“With Max on board to lead our U.S. efforts, the Group will expand partnerships, marketing and sales efforts in America and continue to grow market share,” Gambling.com Group Chief Executive Officer Charles Gillespie said.
“Performance marketing will play an important role in the growth of the sports betting and online gambling industry in America and Gambling.com Group is best positioned to benefit from this expansion of regulated online gambling in the United States,” Bichsel added.

Bischel established strategic partnerships with sportsbooks during his tenure in Kambi, including Rush Street Interactive, Penn National, DraftKings, and 888. Bichsel helped supervise the establishment in Philadelphia of Kambi’s US headquarters.
Before joining Kambi, Bichsel represented cloud, technology and marketing firms, including Selligent, Powa Technologies and HookLogic, acquired by Criteo, in various sales and business development positions.
