Mastercard Renews Sponsorship Of League Of Legends European Championship

Following a successful four-year worldwide relationship with Riot Games, Mastercard has renewed its sponsorship of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC). The leading esport in Europe strengthens Mastercard’s partnership with the largest esport, and its communities, across Europe, with the extension of its offering.

Mastercard’s collaboration with the League of Legends European Championship Finals will provide fans with one-of-a-kind fan experiences and opportunities with their favourite esport talent. The LEC Summer Playoffs will take place on August 13th, 2021, and will feature Europe’s best esports teams competing for the title. In addition, the top three European teams will qualify for the World Championship in 2021.
