Champion jump jockey Brian Hughes has been named by MansionBet as its new Horse Racing Ambassador.
Hughes will work closely with the betting operator, as well as with Hayley Turner OBE, a colleague and flat racing jockey, in creating engaging content through the campaigns of the business. Additionally, on the MansionBet blog, he will become a regular feature.
What Hughes said…
“I’m delighted to be sponsored by MansionBet and am looking forward to working together,” said Hughes.
“I will be writing an exclusive blog ahead of my weekend rides and doing everything I can to retain my title this season which has started well.”
An exceptionally successful career
The jockey has enjoyed an exceptionally successful career, recording over 1,000 wins at the famed Cheltenham Festival, including 19 Graded-races, one Grade 1 race and three wins.
His appointment at MansionBet follows the operator’s recent extension of the third year running of its UK horse racing sponsorships.
In renewing its deal with the Jockey Club Racecourse (JCR) and Arena Racing Company (JCR), the company is expected to fund over 360 races across 63 competitions at 26 different racecourses (ARC).
MansionBet’s Support of UK Racing
Mansion CMO David Murphy said: “We’re excited to introduce another big name in horse racing to the MansionBet portfolio, allowing us to take our support of UK racing even further and engage with audiences across both jump and flat racing.
“We hope that 2021 will see spectators back into the racecourses soon and we’ll all be able to enjoy MansionBet sponsored racing together.”
