Luckbox is planning an update of its fundamental operating systems, which will be aided by Aspire Global technologies.
Aspire Global will act as Luckbox’s principal casino and sports betting systems provider, according to Real Luck Group, the TSXV-listed managing business of Luckbox.
Aspire’s BtoBet Neuron platform will replace EveryMatrix’s OddsMatrix engine as Luckbox’s primary sports betting technology solution, with Aspire also scheduled to deliver the company’s first online casino.
In a statement Real Luck Group said: “The partnership is a key component of broadening the company’s platform and will add casino games to the Luckbox platform as well as BtoBet’s comprehensive sportsbook solution, including esports.”
Luckbox was launched in 2019 with the goal of become the first mass-market betting platform tailored for esports’ distinctive audiences, and it was driven by a tech combination of OddsMatrix and Abios esports data technologies.
Luckbox received new working money in 2020 as a result of Real Luck Group’s TSX Ventures listing, which sought to speed up the development of Luckbox’s main platforms.
In May of last year, Luckbox promoted Thomas Rosander to the role of CEO, succeeding Quentin Martin.
Rosander said: “BtoBet’s industry-leading sportsbook solutions are key to building and improving the Luckbox product and betting offer by allowing customers to bet on traditional and an extended range esports events.
“The integration of BtoBet’s flexible platform is a fundamental part of our growth strategy and the underpinning of the differentiation that will set us apart going forward. This key part of our growth strategy cannot be overemphasised and properly positions us to become the #1 esports betting destination.”
The deal is seen as a major win for Aspire, which bought BtoBet for €20 million in cash last year in order to expand its system offerings beyond online casino gambling.
Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global added: “This partnership is yet another proof point of the strengths of BtoBet’s leading sports solution. We are excited to partner with Luckbox and to support it in its migration from its previous sportsbook provider. We look forward to supporting Luckbox in further strengthening its position as a leading, global iGaming company.”
