Australian slot company Lightning Box, through a distribution deal with Loto-Québec in Canada, has expanded its scope in North America.
The distributor, based in Melbourne, has gone live via collaboration with SG Digital with the lottery and gaming operator.
The first live title was Lightning Horseman, which in its first 24 hours became the top earner player of the Quebec state lottery. Since then Silver Lion has also been released as a successful lightning box name.
Peter Causley, CEO and co-founder of Lightening Box said: “We’re very excited to have launched Lightning Horseman in Canada, our first game in the country.
“Though this is our first title there, we have lots of experience in the North American market and this game adds to the impact we have made in real money gaming, social and land-based casinos”.
Marie-Eve Laberge, product manager at Loto-Québec, added: “We’re delighted to be the first operator in Canada to go live with Lightning Box’s games.
“Their games have always been well-received across the border and given how well Lightning Horseman has performed already, we’re looking forward to rolling out further titles in the near future.”
