Via a multi-year extension of its relationship with Napoleon Sports & Casino, Kambi Group has expanded its role in the Belgian gaming and sports betting industry.
The sportsbook services developer will provide Napoleon with features such as instant betting deals, incentive toolbox capabilities, and distinction levers through player-facing elements such as front-end and odds as a result of the expansion.
Kristian Nylén, CEO and Co-Founder of Kambi said: “We are delighted to have put pen to paper on this extension with Napoleon Sports & Casino, an agreement which strengthens our relationship with one of Kambi’s longest-serving customers.
“Napoleon Sports & Casino has taken full advantage of the powerful sportsbook core and comprehensive differentiation capabilities Kambi offers to become a market leader in Belgium, and it is excellent to have secured this vote of confidence and continue this successful partnership for years to come.”
One of Belgium’s leading operators
Napoleon Sports & Casino and Kambi first collaborated in 2012, and the latter’s suite of online and retail sports betting technologies “has helped Napoleon Sports & Casino to establish itself as one of Belgium’s leading operators.’
Napoleon Sports & Casino CEO Tim De Borle added: “Kambi’s sports betting offer has been a core part of our success in recent years, with a high-performance sportsbook being a vital part of attracting and retaining customers in such a competitive market.
“Kambi’s technological superiority, alongside a broad range of empowerment tools that enable us to set our sportsbook apart, have given us the edge to outperform our competitors in order to become a leader in the Belgian market. We are pleased to have committed to this partnership for the long-term.”
Kambi’s reputation has hinged on its ability to retain its position in numerous foreign markets, with the company recently announcing a “record” fourth-quarter 2020 results, amid the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, the operator recently solidified its role in the Argentine gambling sector through an alliance with Casino Magic, which will facilitate the opening of an online sportsbook in the Neuquén region, as the country controls sports betting on a province-by-province basis.
