Former Deputy Gaming Director for the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), José Carlos Figueroa, has been assigned as Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development Representative by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
Figueroa will retain the interactions with the regulatory and gaming provider customers of GLI in the new position but will develop the company in the region. His knowledge includes gaming policy and regulatory growth, compliance with gaming technology and audit and licensing procedures, as well as global government relations.
Karen Sierra-Hughes GLI’s Director of Latin America and Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development welcomed José Carlos Figueroa and said: “José Carlos’ years of experience as a regulator for the PRTC will be an invaluable resource for our esteemed clients and customers in the Caribbean and throughout Latin America.”
Figueroa received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Accounting at the University of Puerto Rico. He also holds certifications in economic background research methods, slot analysis and sports betting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
