After launching a new cloud hosting platform in Singapore, Internet Vikings has expanded its footprint within the South East Asian region.
The new platform will enable Internet Vikings to improve its offering throughout the region to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), iGaming operators and e-commerce platforms.
Largest tech hubs of South East Asia
Victor Jerlin, Internet Vikings CTO commented: “We are very excited to expand our network into one of the largest tech hubs of South East Asia to serve an active community of businesses and organisations with our VMware backed cloud hosting.
“With the new data centre in Singapore, Internet Vikings is improving the quality of its services to customers operating in Asian market by ensuring redundancy and low latency.”
The opening of its new data center would also “provide better performance and more direct connectivity options for latency-sensitive customers that require higher bandwidth,” according to the European global cloud hosting company.
Internet Vikings built its presence in the ASEAN countries’ markets in 2020 and opened a data center in Taipei.
Seven hubs around the world
The business now has seven hubs around the globe, including Amsterdam, Oklahoma City, São Paulo, Stockholm and Sydney, including its centers in both Singapore and Taipei.
Peter Ekmark, CEO of Internet Vikings, added: “The data centre in Singapore is the first one on the list of points of presence we are opening this year, but definitely not the last one.
“Our plan is to maximise our network following the vision of Internet Vikings – to be a leading managed service provider in hosting and online brand protection.”
