International Game Technology has announced that its IGT Advantage casino management system at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada is replacing a competitor’s system.
Deployment, scheduled for the second quarter of the year, will connect all 1,100 machines and table games, and will integrate with the food and beverage, point-of-sale retail and hotel management systems of the property.
Conversion to the IGT Advantage CMS
Stephan Angeles, vice president of finance for Circus Circus, explained: “Circus Circus has continuously focused on delivering entertaining experiences for our guests, and our conversion to the IGT Advantage CMS will modernise our gaming floor, significantly streamlining our operations and helping to enhance patron loyalty and the overall player experience.”
The central delivery of the IGT Advantage CMS will include patron management, a tool for building custom events and promotions; machine accounting aimed at streamlining and simplifying reporting; the ticketing solution for EZPay; and accounting for cages and tables.
NexGen player tracking hardware
The deployment will also include the introduction of the NexGen player tracking hardware from IGT, providing players with a means of accessing account information, messaging, awards, and bonus apps.
Ryan Reddy, IGT senior vice president of global product management for VLT, systems and payments said: “By converting to the IGT Advantage system, Circus Circus is enhancing its efficiency and performance, while also ensuring long-term capacity for future growth as gaming technology and player preferences continue to evolve.
“Our flexible, modular system, which easily integrates with third-party solutions, will transform Circus Circus’ gaming technology infrastructure, helping them to grow their business while intensifying their focus on delivering highly engaging experiences to their patrons.”
