IGT Seals Mexican National Lottery Deal Until 2022

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that an expanded partnership with La Lotería Nacional para la Asistencia Pública has been secured by its IGT México Lottery subsidiary.

Ongoing services

This will allow the firm to continue to provide the Mexican national lottery with an integrated draw-based/instant ticket scheme, draw-based lottery terminals, a communications network, and additional lottery products and ongoing services.

Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer of lottery said: “For more than three decades, IGT has provided our lottery customer in Mexico with the expertise, technology, and services it has needed to generate results, which ultimately benefit social and health programs.

Innovative, reliable, and proven technology

“As Lotenal navigates this transformational period, IGT’s innovative, reliable, and proven technology will continue to be a key driver of its evolution.”

Lottery game transactions and instant ticket delivery through 8,200 terminals nationwide include the continuing services of IGT to Lotenal, effective until March 2, 2022.

In addition, it also entails the ongoing creation of new B2B retail channels; the installation, repair, maintenance and monitoring of its total lottery terminal base; retailer training; field service; call center operations and hotline management; a sports betting retail network of fixed odds; and marketing support to further expand the overall product and game portfolio of the company.

Mario Caballero Luna, Lotenal chief of advisors added: “For the Lotería Nacional, the extension of the contract with IGT contributes to the certainty and security that we offer to our clients in a year of great challenges for all of us, which has also been a year of transition and internal transformation.”
