International Game Technology (IGT) is ‘honoured’ for being recognised at the annual Pride of Gaming Awards for its dedication to workplace diversity and inclusiveness.
CasinoBeats developed the prize ceremony and seeks to recognise both experts in the gaming industry and organisations whose job helps community and helps the wider populations.
Kim Barker Lee, IGT Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) said: “IGT recognises that it is necessary to have a multicultural workforce to operate effectively in the global marketplace.
“We’re honoured to be recognised for our work building a connected community of employees who are empowered to contribute their diverse talents in ways that deliver the optimal player experience for our customers though all our products and solutions.”
The awards were presented at London’s Natural History Museum alongside SBC’s Hall of Fame awards ceremony, which attempted to recognise those who played an essential part in the sports betting industry’s growth.
Stewart Darkin, Managing Director of CasinoBeats said: “We congratulate IGT on its leadership in developing a welcoming environment where all employees are valued, and where the workforce more closely resembles all the people and communities it serves around the world.”
