IGT Expands US Market Presence After Coushatta Casino Deal

International Game Technology has confirmed that it will power sports betting at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, expanding its US market presence.

IGT will provide its renowned PlaySports turnkey system, as well as trade consulting services, as part of this arrangement.

New type of gaming experience

The chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, Jonathan Cernek, stated: “We’re very excited to be one of the first casinos in Louisiana to secure a sports betting agreement, allowing us to offer our patrons new types of gaming experiences backed by IGT’s reliable sports betting solution.

“IGT’s bundled solution, consisting of its leading sports betting platform and products will allow us to quickly and easily deploy an exceptional localised sports betting programme.”

Enrico Drago, IGT PlayDigital’s senior vice president, echoed Cernek’s sentiments, claiming that the relationship is another “significant milestone” for IGT as the firm continues to drive US sports betting momentum.

Best-in-class sports betting program

He continued: “We look forward to helping the casino establish a best-in-class sports betting program, leveraging IGT’s proven technology and services to expand gaming experiences for its patrons.”

The announcement comes on the heels of ITG’s second installation of the Advantage CMS in Europe, which took place earlier this month at the Regency Casino Thessaloniki and was praised as a “pivotal deployment” by the business.

The facility recently upgraded to the IGT casino management system, receiving a range of bonus, content, and convenience system modules in the process.
