After launching its suite of games with Churchill Downs and WynnBet, High 5 Games has expanded its igaming footprint in Michigan.
This was made possible by a previously partnering up with GAN, which saw the supplier’s content catalogue integrated into the firm’s GameStack platform in November 2020, with the initial launch targeting New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan before additional roll-outs.
High 5 Games obtained an online casino supplier licence in Michigan by the Michigan Gaming Control Board in December of last year, after boasting a presence on the floor of Michigan’s land-based casinos for over 20 years. The supplier outlined a vision of working with “every online casino operator” as the region’s market expands.
The MGCB launched the region’s online gaming and sports betting ecosystems on Friday, January 22nd, at noon local time, with nine operators initially licenced to kick off what was dubbed “a new era.”
High 5 launched in Michigan with Golden Nugget and BetRivers, followed by a partnership with PokerStars a few days later. This was the first time the supplier’s games were available in the United States through PokerStars.
High 5 first entered the Michigan igaming industry with over 20 games, and the company’s product pipeline calls for four to eight new titles to be released every month on the web, Android, and iOS platforms.
Lauren Gazneli, High 5 Games’ director of client partner, said: “Michigan is an important market for us, and we’re fuelled by the incredible response we’ve seen so far.
“Online players across the state have been requesting the games they already love from the land-based world, so we’re inking more partnerships to help put our brand of entertainment in front of more eyes.”
