A panel of judges at this year’s 5 Star Media Starlet Awards named the Malta-based lottery technology supplier Helio Gaming Lottery Supplier of the Year.
It is confirmed that the judges at the prestigious event were pleased with the innovative product selection of the supplier. The purpose-built solutions of the business not only provide support to partners in the competitive market, but also help companies expand into the lottery industry.
Lotto Hero, the company’s flagship game which forms part of the Helio Heroes Group, is an award-winning hourly lottery offering an accumulative jackpot starting at “one million Euros round the clock.” The lottery game is first designed for tablet and smartphone to draw a younger consumer audience.
The smaller ball draw, Live Lotto, is also common in three-minute intervals and players can win prizes of up to € 50,000, along with the opportunity to communicate with the hostesses of the game.
Commenting on his peers’ recent appreciation in a press release last week, Helio Gaming’s chief executive and co-founder, Richard Mifsud, said: “We strive to create strong and purpose-built solutions that give partners the edge in a competitive market, so it’s very pleasing to see our cutting-edge development receive the recognition it deserves.
“We face tough competition in an industry where innovation is necessary to stand out, but always remain confident that our offering can hold its own.”
Winning the Year’s Lottery Supplier beautifully wraps up a significant year that saw the global presence of the supplier grow in a number of emerging markets.
In addition, a year in which the company added nominations in the 2019 EGR B2B Awards (Lottery Supply Category) where Helio were up against Bet Invest, Instant Win Gaming (IWG), Lottoland and Sporting Solutions, the welcome win caps.
Founded in 2017, the portfolio of the completely customisable lottery system contains custom-made lottery games in addition to various API features to fulfil the lottery needs of any operator, including its flagship suite of Hero games.
Building on a partnership that started in 2018, the company headquartered in Ta’Xbiex went live with BetConstruct’s operator Vbet earlier this year in a move which gave firm exposure to operators from over 50 countries. Because of the contract, the Vbet family of domains can now give players the ability to wager on the results of some of the most lucrative lotteries on the planet through regular, weekly and event-based drawings.
