Together with Future Anthem and Mindway AI, GVC Holdings has unveiled two new programmes to strengthen the company’s Advanced Responsibility and Care safer gambling Program to coincide with the start of Safer Gambling Week.
In order to provide end-to-end player safety and engagement, ARC deploys the group’s proprietary technology platform and behavioural play data, using real-time monitoring and analysis tools to allow early intervention to enhance player protection.
It is hoped that the two new collaborations would supplement the in-house capabilities of the organisation by leveraging algorithmic expertise focused on behavioural, neuroscience and academia in order to pioneer harm minimisation solutions.
Shay Segev, GVC’s CEO said: “As we set out last week with the launch of ARC, our new safer gambling programme, we are committed to leading the industry on safer gambling issues.
“Our proprietary technology provides us with unparalleled insight into player behaviour and we are now enhancing this capability by working with partners to provide additional scientific based insight.”
GVC is piloting its Anthemetrics Safer Play Responsible Gambling solution alongside Future Anthem, in hopes of developing its monitoring technology to allow for quicker recognition of players who begin to display possible early signs of problem gambling behaviours.
The CEO of Future Anthem, Leigh Nissim, commented: “We are delighted to be working with a market-leader such as GVC, who have demonstrated their commitment to improving player safety and taking a science-led approach to player protection.
“We are excited to demonstrate how our game data science solution will enable GVC to build on this approach, delivering even greater insight into their player behaviours on casino games.”
In addition, GVC, to be renamed Entain, will begin a pilot on a Gamalyze self-identification test with Mindway AI, which will be used to provide participants with input on their decision-making to provide advice and guidance on how to better maintain gambling behaviour management.
Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard added: “Over the past two years GVC have been at the forefront of tackling the issue of problem gambling and we are proud that they are piloting our Gamalyze self-test to provide their players’ with another tool to understand and stay in control of their gambling.”
