Greentube has deepened its presence in the regulated market, only a short time after the distributor took its first steps into the jurisdiction.
The interactive Novomatic division released its games through Grand Casino Baden ten days after it was announced that a partnership with the Grand Casino Lucerne had been formed to secure market entry.
Since getting the green light from Switzerland’s gambling regulator Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission while passing the International Organisation for Standardisation review, the company was among the first suppliers to provide its products to the region earlier this year.
The collaboration provides the operator with access to a range of popular land-based games, including the casino floors state classic Super Cherry Slots from Golden Games, as well as a further choice from Greentube’s portfolio that is now available through the online gaming portal of Grand Casino Baden, jackpots.ch.
Daniel Lechner, Greentube head of sales, said of the new agreement: “Partnering with Grand Casino Baden is an important step for Greentube, as we expand into Switzerland’s online market. Novomatic being the clear leader with land-based casino slots has allowed Greentube to rapidly secure major partnerships with leading operators.”
Once Grand Casino Baden entered the market in July, it became Switzerland’s first licensed online casino operator and introduced jackpots.ch, which is backed by Gamanza’s application software and data storage solution.
This incorporation marks the second jurisdictional collaboration of Greentube, stressing that more will follow as new operators obtain online licenses.
“Providing our customers with famous Swiss games such as Super Cherry Slots will serve as great advantage as we grow our jackpots.ch online brand,” commented Marcel Tobler, CFO of Grand Casino Baden. “Greentube’s portfolio of iconic titles perfectly fits our player profile and we look forward to offering our customers some of the most popular slot games in the market.”
