Since unveiling its latest competition, Euro Cup, Golden Race has bolstered its virtual football offering.
The interactive tournament, which was inspired by the European Championship, is now open to Golden Race clients in Europe and Africa.
About the competition
The competition is split into two stages: a group stage and a knockout stage, which are both available on demand and scheduled. During the group stage, each team plays one match against the other teams in their group, with three points awarded for a victory, one point awarded for a tie, and zero awarded for a loss.
Every group’s top two teams, as well as the best four third-place teams, qualify. According to Golden Race, team rankings are determined by the number of points earned during the group stages, as well as goal differential and goal totals.
The knockout stage features one match in each of the four stages, with Golden Race’s qualifier market included to encourage bettors to participate.
Available in stores and online
The betting services and interactive football company said its Euro Cup product will be available in stores and online, and that it has been “optimised for mobile and desktop devices so that players can access it and enjoy it easily and smoothly.’
After receiving approval from Gaming Laboratories International Africa in January, Golden Race secured the requisite certification to become a wagering B2B provider in South Africa (GLI).
