After introducing responsible gaming functionality to its real-time data portal, GiG Data, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) would assist its partners in creating a more sustainable playing environment.
The new responsible gaming functionality, which will be allowed by default, will provide GiG’s partners with information on early detection and end-to-end lifetime tracking capabilities for vulnerable players.
Proactive capabilities for player safety
Director of GiG Data Stephen Borg commented: “As a continued effort to build technology that supports today’s iGaming demands, we are excited to launch our proactive capabilities for player safety as part of our data platform. This initiative will support a healthier gambling environment for our partners and their players.”
Operators will also be able to interfere in situations where players are at risk of gambling-related harm using direct messaging in real-time, thanks to the inclusion of responsible gambling features, which is part of GiG’s ambition to help boost player safety.
Third new platform contract
Also today, GiG signed an agreement to provide its iGaming platform to a new, unidentified online casino that will have the same ownership as an existing partner.
The new casino will be operated as a separate company with its own licence, and it is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
GiG’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Brown, stated: “I am happy to sign the third new platform contract so far in 2021, with a brand coming from this reputable owner and operational outfit.
“I am sure the collaboration will drive success for both parties and truly enjoyable iGaming experience for their customer base”
