Geolocation solutions provider Geocomply earned its Supplier Registration following talks with the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation earlier this week.
The registration will allow Tennessee sports betting operators to use the geolocation enforcement solutions of GeoComply as a vital part of their online sports betting apps and websites.
Gabrielle Angle, Manager, Compliance and Legal Affairs at GeoComply said: “We are excited to be registered to service our clients and partners in Tennessee, a state that’s extremely passionate about sports.
“The GeoComply team is ready to support the deployment of online sports betting as quickly as the state can launch live operations.”
Geocomply, working together with Responsible Gaming Education Week, announced the introduction of PlayPause earlier this month, a tool designed to modernise and improve the efficacy of the responsible gaming initiatives of the igaming and online sports betting industry.
The solution would be used to extend the self-exclusion defensive bubble so that the protections they have asked for will also travel with them as players move from state to state.
It also encourages customers in several states to self-exclude in order to avoid the occurrence of merely crossing a state line and continuing to gamble.
We’re pleased to announce we’ve received our Supplier Registration in Tennessee. This will enable sports betting operators to utilize GeoComply’s award-winning geolocation compliance solutions as part of their sports betting apps and websites. More here: https://t.co/YK8M6peYEl
