For Jack Entertainment in Ohio, in anticipation of the state legalising real-money sports wagering, GAN has introduced a virtual internet sports betting experience.
PlayJACK.com, the platform operated by the free-play Simulated Gaming solution of the supplier, will make the latest free-to-play offering available. This was enabled by a collaboration negotiated last September, which will see GAN power the operator’s expansion into online real-money verticals as permitted by regulation.
For entertainment purposes, consumers can sign up and bet on a variety of sports, with both pre-game and in-play wagering options available to users.
The virtual betting solution from GAN leverages the latest technological collaboration between its enterprise software platform GameSTACK and Kambi, the sports betting technology partner.
Tom Ustunel, GAN’s vice president of gaming operations, said the supplier expects retail casino operators in other states across the US to expand the simulated sports betting offering.
“The addition of simulated internet sports betting is a natural extension of our existing product offering with key partners, as it offers sports bettors, in any state, the ability to participate in active sporting events with the added benefit of full integration with rewards program,” Ustunel said.
