Gaming1 has expanded its game design and marketing team by naming Ricardo Viana to the position of Chief Creative Officer, the company’s first of its kind.
Viana will take care of the design, distribution, and promotion of the Argent Group gaming and sports betting platform’s global suite of over 120 titles as CCO, streamlining the production process for its slots, dice, and table games.
Viana has over 25 years of gaming experience, most recently as Creative Director at Play’n GO, where he managed the operator’s production pipeline, and Game Director at Skymoons Edinburgh, a free-to-play content developer.
Next-level entertainment experiences
“I’m delighted to be appointed as Gaming1’s Chief Creative Officer, and look forward to working alongside its talented developers to create next-level entertainment experiences,” he remarked.
“The company’s mission and vision match my own, and I can’t wait to maintain Gaming1’s world-class content rollout in the period to come.”
Classic titles such as Dragon Fury, Gobs’n Gold, and Astro: The Great Race have recently been added to Gaming1’s gaming portfolio, with these titles being launched in Latin America, Malta, and other European jurisdictions.
Gaming1’s COO and Co-Founder, Sylvain Boniver, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Ricardo on board, and have every confidence that his appointment will prove pivotal to the continued popularity generated by our ever-growing games offering.
“Our in-house portfolio of premium casino titles has gone from strength to strength in recent months, and Ricardo will undoubtedly play a key role in helping it to expand and improve even further.”
Viana will most likely collaborate with Gaming1 Chief Marketing Officer David Carrion, who joined the company in October 2020 and is in charge of the company’s foreign B2B expansion.
Gaming1 has recently joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), extending the organization’s presence in the European and American betting and gambling industries.
