Developer and aggregator of online slots Games Inc has announced a new strategic partnership with Jade Rabbit Studio to see titles built into the former reach platform.
It stems from the recent award by the Malta Gaming Authority to Games Inc. of a recognition notice licence and a UK Gambling Commission host B2B permit.
These are said to allow the reach platform to carry its portfolio of slots through a wider range of partnerships to more games.
Jason O’Shea, commercial director of Games Inc, said: “Some of the most innovative and interesting content in the online gaming space is being created by smaller ‘boutique’ studios and start-ups who don’t feel like they need to play by the rules and are more willing to experiment.
“It may be a young company, but Jade Rabbit Studios has that totally fresh approach to games development that we really value. We believe JRS’s eye-catching content is a worthy addition to our growing portfolio.”
Launched last year, Malta-based Jade Rabbit aims to release 12 games a year by 2020 and beyond. The release of Red Hot Reels is set for February.
Harry Biring, director at Jade Rabbit Studio, stated: “We’re excited to be part of the awesome Reach platform and to be jostling for position with some of the biggest names in the industry.
“We believe our games have what it takes to stand out from the crowd, and we’re delighted they will soon reach many more slots players thanks to the Games Inc deal.”
Last month proved that developer Plank Gaming was striving to bring its title portfolio to a wider audience after entering into a new strategic partnership with Games Inc. Plank, which emphasises the theme, design and maths aspects of an online slot, is also seeing its growing suite of games built on the Games Inc reach platform.
